A game that transforms a city into a playing field where teams race against time to access as many wifi hot-spots as possible, photograph and submit them to a weblog.

Noderunner was awarded the Golden Nica for Net Vision by the Ars Electronica Festival in 2003. Games have been played in New York, Seattle and Paris.

Two teams of players had to race bewteen two points and submit visual proof of each wifi hotspot connection to score 3 points.
The team that connected to the most hotspots in the two hour race won. All their locations were being mapped at the Eyebeam gallery as part of an event.
